Dublin event ready to roll...

The official premiere of the Zanskar film will be held in Dublin on Thursday 16th December 2004 at the Law Society in Blackhall place.

Join us for a great fundraising evening of slides, prizes, mulled wine... and of course the long awaited Zanskar movie. DVD's will be on sale at the event - all proceeds go to the Kullu School for the Blind and the Irish Cancer Society.

Zanskar Film ready for release...

The long awaited film of the Zanskar kayak expedition to Northern India is almost ready for release.

The Irish-led team of 6 paddlers took on the 300km stretch of remote whitewater in August and the documentary style movie will be sold to aid charities both in Ireland and in India.

The main feature is 45 min long and follows the team from their preparations at home, right up to their gruelling descent of the successive Tsarap and Zanskar rivers, high on the Tibetan plateau.

All proceeds from the DVD sales will go towards the Kullu School for the Blind (which the team are personally involved with) and the Irish Cancer Society.
